We are a club located in the village of Branč, 15 kilometers south of Nitra. In previous years, our club played in the 7th division ObFZ Nitra for most of the seasons. .
The club also unites youth teams, the U15 student team has been operating for many years, and a few years ago the U19 youth team was also operating, but its activity ended due to the lack of young players who would like to play football. However, we are doing everything to restart it again.
In the summer of 2017, the modern history of the club began to be written. The club was taken over by a new, rejuvenated management, composed of natives of the village and skilled people. The club stabilized financially, gradually added equipment for youth and the A team. The club engaged experienced coaches for youth as well as promising young coaches, as well as for the A team. The coaches, together with the management, started working on improving the quality of the staff, which led to improved sports results, and we ended the 2017-18 season in a nice 2nd place.
The general partner also invested funds in our stadium, which required reclamation, either of the playing area itself or its surroundings.
The club has also created a marketing department and several communication channels to get closer to its fans and build strong relationships. The football club also started organizing a sports ball, which became a tradition, but the pandemic disrupted it. We believe that soon together we will “kick it off” again.
The new management also focused on the youth, conditions were created for them that had not existed in Branč until then, our offer for training was accepted by young coaches and former Branč players. Ján Núdzny, a very successful U9 category was created, which created many football talents who later moved up. Currently, our youngest football players are led by our former players Filip Šlosár and Tomáš Pénzeš
We currently operate in the V. league – JV ZsFZ.
